McCain – Koala ’08

Jesus, did anyone see that Sarah Palin interview with Katie Couric? She’s a goddamn fucking idiot. Like, not in a loveable retarded kid that lives at the end of the block way. Like, holy shit, this idiot could be running the country if the crypt keeper McCain dies and I would actually prefer to have the current idiot over this idiot. They asked her about the bailout plan, and she quite obviously didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about. And then Tina Fey basically repeated what Palin said on SNL (seriously, almost word for word in some spots), and it was comedy gold. Is anyone awake out there? How in the world is she in the position she is in?
When asked about her comment about how being close to Russia counts as foreign policy experience, she didn’t say something like “that got blown out of proporation”. She further insisted that it was in fact good experience for the job. What? So, like, since people in the northern US are close to Canada, they all have foreign policy experience? What about me? I’m pretty close to Mexico, so I must be a damn foreign dignitary. This crazy chick just got her first passport last year. Are we as Americans really this crazy? This has to be some kind of social experiment to see if Republicans will vote for anyone, regardless of their qualifications. Like, if McCain’s running mate was an Koala, would that be alright? Fuck, it can’t talk and likes to eat leaves all day, but look at how cute it is! And it’s probably got as much foreign policy experience, since it’s home is somewhat close to New Zealand. This is a ticket I could get down with.
